Our HP color LaserJet 2550n prints only on the right half of the paper, why?

All four toner cartridges are filled with enough toner and the drum still has about 35 % left of its life lenghth. The ';ready light'; indicates that everything is OK.Our HP color LaserJet 2550n prints only on the right half of the paper, why?
try the hardware self-test page see the print out is full page or not. if same problem, you need to send in to service center. (formatter board may sopild)





if the self-test page is working fine, then you need to start suspect on either connection or software problem.





try the windows print test page. if the test page printed properly then narrow down to the application itself.





You need to tell us more information like are you using the network to print? I beleive your printer are network capable. try to connect directly like USB and see what happen.

this could be a dirty scanner but it would really have to be dirty





I too think you may have problem with the formatter
