Connecting to an HP Laserjet 6p via IrDA?

Could someone explain me in detail what is involved in connecting to an HP LaserJet 6p via IrDA? I've gone as far as seen the green light above the ';black'; window, blinking. Is that a good sign? How do I tell my laptop --running XP Pro SP3--to look for it? and see it as a printer?Connecting to an HP Laserjet 6p via IrDA?
First off, your laptop has to have an infrared port that is working. Then you go to the printer properties and tell it to use that IR port.





Then, like a TV and TV remote, the ports have to be pointed at each other and fairly close with nothing blocking the line-of-sight between them.
