That is a very nice printer. If I were you, I'd set it up on the network. Give it an ip address via the front panel (ip address, mask, and gateway are required) and hook it up to the network. Then you can print to it from any computer. When you set up the printer on your computer, choose local port and add a ';standard tcpip port'; and put in the IP address of the printer. You need to put in an address that is about 30 numbers or so above your computer's ip address. If this is a home network that would apply, for an office network, check with the system admin for your ip address.
