Can someone please explain this problem, and maybe helpful if give advice on what to do and what not to do. Im not computer competent but maybe i can follow some instructions and information.
The green light on the printer is on, and is connected to the computer but its not printing out anything, even the test page. Someone used it before me, and left it disable which i cannot fix.

you may have to turn off the printer,right click the printer icon.cancel all documents.make sure its clear and try again.HP has a diagnostic you can download to solve this.it may explain more than i.RESTART THE computer when done clearing.This printer hp laserjet 1020 status is ready but it is not printing the document i sent for printing!?
check the printing queue and delete old print commands.
