ALL OF A SUDDEN IM GETTING A DARK LINE ON THE RIGHT SIDE ON EVERY PAGE I PRINT. HOW CAN I FIX THE PROBLEM.HP LASERJET 1200 SERIES DARK LINE on the right side?
the laserjet printer has a toner which has a slite scratch (that is unrepairable) or maybe something dust revolving around the side of toner that could be cleaned see user manual on how to remove the toner cartrige out of ur printer by the its on top of it if u open the cover then slide out.and make neccesary cleaning if u see some symptomsHP LASERJET 1200 SERIES DARK LINE on the right side?
Has it done this for more than about 30 or 40 consistent pages? If not you may use have a dirty paper feed roller. Just run a number of blank sheets though the printer and it will pick up the excess.
If it has been doing this for more than about 30-40 pages then...
You toner/drum is shot.
Hopefully you are near the end of your toner as what has happened is that you either have a scratch or mark on your electrostatic drum (that green roller on your toner) This is attracting TOO much toner and causing a black streak. The only way to solve this is to replace the toner cartridge.
