My HP laserjet 1320 takes more time to start a print job.It is connected to network point(Not to Computer )?

Your comment sounds correct.

A printer on a network will usually take more time to start a print job then one connected directly to the computer sending the print job. It has to be transmitted across the network.

For small jobs, like a single page of simple text, there should be little difference.

For a job involving a complex first page with detailed graphics, etc, it can take some time.

Also, some printers may not actually start printing until the full job is received.

Is your network busy?

Does it have faulty cables?
