I have a HP Colour laserjet 4600n with a jet direct built into it that i want to connect to a wireless network, I could run a 10 meter cable into the wireless router and connect like that but i would like to connect it to some wireless device that would connect to my wireless network, any suggestions?Connecting a HP Colour Laserjet 4600n to a wireless network?
You are going to need one of these: HP Jetdirect 680n 802.11b Internal Wireless Print Server. It replaces the network port in the back RJ45 with a wireless version.Connecting a HP Colour Laserjet 4600n to a wireless network?
The only device you could use is a wireless access point. This is overkill. Much better to use the cable.
