The lag can be large if the document is large or includes a ton of pictures. You may also be using only a USB 1.0 connection versus a USB 2.0 connection. Did you get a little pop-up next to the clock that said something along the lines of ';This device can perform better/faster if connected to a USB2.0 port?';
