Is there a faster way to scan to computer with the HP Laserjet 3380?

When scanning from the device to a computer is there a way to keep the scanning software up so that you can scan objects at will without having to wait for the scanning software to open and load each time? Is there a faster way to scan to computer with the HP Laserjet 3380?
1. Try opening the software first.





2. Check the page, some software has an option you can check where it does not close down after every scan.





I had a similar issue with my cannon printer.
