How do I clean my HP Laserjet 2600N printer?

It has started printing ink smears on the paper over the last month or so. It is located at a business and we probably print 100 sheets of paper per day. I cannot find where the smears are coming from. It is only 1 year old. I read online where others have had same problem with this model.. can you help? How do I clean my HP Laserjet 2600N printer?
It is possible that one or more of your toner cartridges may be causing a problem, but more than likely the ETB (Electrostatic Transfer Belt) is worn out or contaminated and needs to be replaced. You can try cleaning it with a soft cloth by opening the front access door/cover (it will be that large black plastic looking type sheet that pulls down with the door) and manually wipe it down, usually you can carefully rotate it by hand to get to the entire surface. Cleaning it will usually work for a short time, but if it needs replacing the problem will return. It is also possible that the fuser assy may be causing issues too, hard to tell without actually seeing it.

I'd recommend replacing the ETB unit as this is the most likely culprit.

you need a new laser toner cartridge it sounds like your running out of toner

take the cartridge out and give it a gentle sake from left to right a few times

NOT up and down, if you do do the up and down motion then leave it to settle for about and hour or so
