Wow, a lot of folks are referring to inkjet cartridges in these responses. What you have (as you likely know) is a high volume toner cartridge with an integrated drum. You cannot refill the toner cartridge, but you can purchase them in one of two states, refilled or remanufactured. Refilled toner cartridges contain used drums which is a concern. Either way, reliability drops right along with print quality to some degree. Buy an ink refill kit and then refill the cartridges. It is simple and inexpensive, and ebay has the entire kits for 9 bucks
The short answer is you can't. You have a cartridge with a smart chip. Even if you do refill it once you re-install it it will still think it is empty and therefore not print.
