I cant get my HP LaserJet P1006 to print?

I've tried multiple things to get it working again. (Was working fine yesterday)





Ive tried.......

Computer says it printed but nothing comes out of printer.

try putting paper in.

Is it possible to automatically scan and store everything that is copied with an HP Multifunction laserjet?

My office has an HP Multifunction laserjet M4345xm. Is it possible to scan everything and store it automatically without have to go through the control panel and pressing on the Job Storage button? Please help, my boss thinks this is possible, but from what I've seen, it doesn't do it automatically- you have to manually store a job yourself.Is it possible to automatically scan and store everything that is copied with an HP Multifunction laserjet?
I have only seen them do it manually.

Hard to say without knowing more. Is it a re-occurring dot down the page? or dots scattered all over?





Most probably you have a bad toner cartridge that is not working properly leaving multiple dots all over. It is the simplest thing to try and see if that fixes it, though they are expensive, but probably the fix it needs.





A re-occurring dot down the page could be the toner cartridge, fuser assembly or some other roller that needs cleaning.

How do I change my HP LaserJet P2015's installation from PCL6 to PCL5e?

I see you're back again. Guess you didn't have the Postscript driver. Maybe the PCL5 driver will work better for you then. Click on this link:

This is HP's website and is the download link for the latest P2015 PCL5 driver for both XP and Vista (since you didn't say which you have) as well as a few others. Download, run and install it for your printer and select it as your default printer and you should be good to go. On that same page there is a tab for installation instructions as well if you should need them.

Why do u need to change it? As far as I have used the Hp P2015, when you install it, you will se 2 printers being installed i.e PCL5 and PCL6. So its you want to use PCL5, make it default. No need to change anything.

Sounds like either a drum or the transfer belt failing.





If you can rub the toner powder off the page it's usually fuser.

Try cleaning the tones as it has caught dust and paper particles causing interference while printing
